1. Using DishCrib

DishCrib helps you save recipes, create your own dishes, discover public content, and use AI-assisted recipe features. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your profile.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the recipes, photos, notes, and other content you upload. If you choose to make content public, you allow DishCrib to display it inside the product so other users can discover it.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to use. Do not abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or publish unlawful, harmful, or misleading material.

DishCrib reserves the right to remove content, limit visibility, restrict features, or suspend accounts when content infringes copyright or other rights, contains sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate material, is abusive, harmful, misleading, unlawful, or otherwise violates these Terms or the intended purpose of the service. In serious cases, we may act without prior notice.

5. AI-assisted features

AI-generated suggestions are provided to help you cook and organize recipes more efficiently, but they may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. DishCrib does not guarantee that AI-generated recipes, substitutions, timings, dietary labels, allergen information, or cooking instructions are error-free or appropriate for your needs.

You remain responsible for reviewing ingredients, quantities, allergens, dietary suitability, cooking temperatures, and food safety before preparing or consuming any dish. AI-assisted features are provided for general informational purposes and are not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, dietary, or food safety advice.

6. Age requirements

You must be old enough to use DishCrib under the laws that apply where you live. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should only use the service with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

7. Suspension, termination, and appeals

You may stop using DishCrib at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts or content when needed to protect users, comply with the law, enforce these Terms, or maintain the integrity of the service.

We may remove messages, comments, recipes, or other content that we reasonably consider offensive, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, unlawful, spammy, or otherwise harmful to the community. In serious or repeated cases, we may suspend or terminate the user's account. To the extent permitted by applicable law, account suspension or termination for breach of these Terms does not entitle the user to compensation, indemnity, or refund.

8. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or remove features over time. We may also update these Terms when the product evolves.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to you under the laws of the country where you live.

Where permitted by applicable law, any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of DishCrib will be submitted to the competent Portuguese courts. If you are a consumer, you may benefit from mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that cannot be excluded by these Terms.
